Our ugly class

Our ugly classroom. Today it started off with colours, but once we finished stripping the wall and took everything off the wall, it is now ugly and plain we had to do that because it is old. I wish that it was not ugly.

And there was a big spider that lived in the corner and it use to be really happy intel it was disturbed. Now it is anode it now needs to find a new home.

7 Year old Skater

This is a 7 year old boy and he is a great skateboarder and  this is a move that show's you him skateboarding.

Melted Crayon

This term our topic is Art Alive it means we are learning about art and artists. Room 13 was going to do some art. Melting crayons I thought would be colorful, but I did not know how the crayons were going to melt.

First step was to put all the crayons in order from warm to cold colours I carefully carried it on to the table to glue the crayons with the hot glue gun. As the rest of my group painted the stencil on a canvas. To make it stay together we sellotaped the crayons to the top of the canvas.

Finally we were on our last step melting the crayons with a hair dryer. I got to go first. It took awhile for them to start melting. But the only problem was that when the melted crayon goes on the sellotape it splatters the crayon everywhere. My team thought it was going to make it look funny, but our artwork actually turned out well.
        

Frobscottle

As the BFG walked over to Sophie with a bolte of green liquid he said “Here is the scrumdidliumptious Frobscottle would you like some?” “OK thanks” replied Sophie “but look the bubbles burst down then it will make you fart”
“A whizzpoper” shouted the BFG. “But that is the wrong way!” said Sophie
“Wrong way you say, then you would have a foalthsome belching burp” the BFG said, most disgusted.

The twits

The twits are very very nasty people.Every week they eat bird pie, they put stuck tight glue on a big dead tree to catch the birds. There are four monkeys that tell the birds, “Go go fly away there is stuck tight glue on the tree.” But the birds do not understand the monkey’s African language. One day along came a Roly-Poly bird who could speak any language, so the monkeys explained about the Twits, and the Roly-Poly bird was able to tell the other birds not to go on the tree. This made Mr Twit very angry!

Making Pt England's uniform better

What was the problem with our uniform? It is too plain

What did I design to fix it? We added the fangepani and fire

What makes this uniform better than the old one? It has got cool designs on it and we will look after our uniform better this way.

What is the new uniform made out of? Polyester and cotton, it is easy to clean and lasts a long tim.

BFG

Using Speech in a Paragraph

The Delorean screeched its wheels as it drove out of the drive way at high speed. Marty said “We better reverse there is not enough road to geat up to 88”. Mardey and Jennifer felt worried. "Roads" said Doc “Where we're going we don't need roads” adjusting his glasses the wheels turned inside out and fire came out of the holes in the wheels and boom! They flew off to the future.

Adding Detail to Sentences

Today miss king wrote up on the board a phrase for us to add detail to. It was "invented the spaceship".
I added detail to the beginning and the end of the phrase.

Marble run
Today we did a marble run with Miss King. At first, when we started my team thought that we could not do it, but guess what happened? we made it. My team argued over our scheme, but finally we actually made a good marble run. We tweaked and fixed it to make it good. I thought that we could do a good job with it and I think that the marble run was interesting and fun.

Tornado on the North Shore

Tornado
yesterday their was a tornado in the north shore shopping moll in Albany.It was going on to 3pm and the students were about to go out of school.


My dad works near the tornado.He told me that it was really raining down.He was in a meeting. Jay told him to get out of there.The tornado looked like a spiral of gray cloud and a cone. It got bigger when it got higher.It sounded like a jet engine of a jet roaring over head.The people were worried about the houses and the cars flying over their head and landing on top of them.
The tornado was a terrifying experience.
