My holidays

On the first week of the holidays my brother and I went to Hoyts in Sylvia Park to watch ‘Transformers 4’. It was a two hour movie but the pop corn didn't last long. Transformers 4 is about robot dinosaurs. And the good transformers are the bad ones to the army. All the Autobots join together and fight against the bad Transformers.

On the second week of the holidays on Thursday it was my twelfth birthday. For my birthday we didn't really do much. I just stayed home in front of the Tv play the new game that I got called Watchdogs.

On the third week of the holidays Me and my family went out to Parakai Springs. It was a one hour drive from our house in Point England.

Once we got to the pools we looked for a space to sit. Me and Shelford took our clothes off and went straight into the water. I was expecting the water to be cold but it was warm. Me and Shelford started to bomb and that's when my dad's jumped in with my little sister Keyana.

We all started to get board of swimming so we when on the slide with the blue broads. We went on a tiresome journey up the long stairs. Me Shelford and my dad when up to the biggest slide and my other dad went with my younger sister Keyana to the smaller slide. Once we were at the bottom my dads and my sister didn't want to go again but me and Shelford went down about seven times.

When we got tired of the slide we got something to eat once we finished we went to the hotter pools inside. Before we left the pools we spent some time in the hot pools. And when we left to go home I fell asleep in the car.

fishing with my bro

Today me and my brother Shelford<< Shelford's blog<< went to Point England beach to fish. We got the all our equipment ready.

Once we were all ready me and Shelford walked down to the beach. When we were at the beach me and Shelford split up me going the Point and Shelford going to the rock to get some periwinkles for bait. But I realized that we were wasting time so I called Shelford in.

Shelford asked the other lady's that were fishing if we could have some little sprats and she gave the ones that they didn't want. So I cast the line out. I then started to get Shelford's rod ready and when  I cast Shelford's line out I got a big bite and I  dropped the rod and reeled it in as fast as I could for a moment me and Shelford thought it got away but it pulled again once I got it up one of the lady's came to help. And we left at six o'clock. And my dad was happy when I showed him.

Parakai Springs

Me and my family went out to Parakai Springs. It was a one hour drive from our house in Point England.

My wonderful Holiday

In the Holiday I went diving for Kina. The water was warm but every time the seaweed touched my legs I would almost drowned. And getting the Kina off the rocks was a lot harder. Seeing the fish swimming past almost gave me a heart attack. Eventually I got out. And then started to fish.As I was fishing I got my hooks stuck in the seaweed. Then I finally I got it out but as I was bringing it in I had a fish.

I just didn't know where to fish but I just couldn't find a good spot. It wasn't long before I got bored so I started to watch the birds fly past. But I didn't know that some other birds were taking my bait.

But sadly I had to go home the day went so fast but the best part about it was that it was the holidays.

Fiafia night

Fiafia was awesome!. The big night was on the 18th of april 2013 60th birthday for point england school. 6:00 pm the students had to get dressed and 7:15 pm had the opening pray one in tongan and one in Maori  I was in the Kapa haka group and the Kapa haka was the first item. Getting changed was fun I liked watching the girls getting their Moko's. Walking up the steps onto the stage outside because we couldn't do it in the assembly hall because it was too small. When the I done the haka I got stage fright. But when we done a song with the junior Kapa haka I couldn't sing properly. But it was fun I can't wait for the next Fiafia.
